Me and 3E
So, I've spent the last 6 months of my life working with Elite 3E, a Practice Management System used by Law firms worldwide. I'm specifically involved in the area of reporting and business intelligence and so I am heavily involved with the data conversion and report writing components of the implementation. 3E has this thing called a reporting tool, but it's not really.
It has a development environment named IDE that is used for report development. Supposedly the developers of Elite 3E use this same tool to build the product. Wow, good luck to them.
I have been using the IDE environment to produce reports for a law firm to replace the current solution which is built on Microsoft SSRS. Talk about about taking a step back in time.
